Trouble has been detected in the internal cooling fan rotation mechanism. If you keep using
the unit in this condition, this may cause a malfunction of the power supply system.
Contact your nearest Sony dealer.
When this message is displayed, the LEDs on the INPUT MONITOR display blink in red. If
you press the ENTER button, the message disappears. If the problem is not solved and
still remains, this message will appear again after one minute.
Trouble is detected in the power supply unit. Turn off the power of the unit when an error
occurs, and contact your nearest Sony dealer. If you press the ENTER button, the
message disappears. If the problem is not solved and still remains, this message will
appear again after one minute.
This message is displayed when the voltage of the battery becomes low due to use of the
internal backup battery. If the power voltage continues to decrease because you continue
to use the unit in this situation, the unit can not recall the settings in effect before you
turned the power off. It is necessary to replace the backup battery. Contact your nearest
Sony dealer.
When this message is displayed, push the ENTER button to return to the normal operating
condition, then make a system backup before you turn off the power. See "Storing the
current operation settings in non-volatile memory as backup data" on page 123. When the
unit returns to the normal operating condition when you press the ENTER button, this
message will not appear again until the power is turned on again after the power has been
turned off once.
Note
Data stored in non-volatile memory is backed up by the backup battery when the power is
turned off. Thus, when the power is turned off, the battery can be used up.
If the unit does not start up correctly with the stored settings, this may be because the
internal backup battery is exhausted. Ask your nearest Sony dealer to replace the battery
with a new one . When the data in non-volatile memory is not backed up due to a problem
with the battery, the unit displays this message and starts with the settings stored by the
SYSTEM BACKUP submenu operation (on page 123).
This message is displayed only when the power is turned on. If you press the ENTER
button, the display is reset to the normal one.
