Menu Operations
Protecting a scene
The scene protection function allows you to protect
important scenes from being overwritten or deleted by
mistake.

Enter the PROTECT submenu by displaying it on
the LCD.

Enter the scene number in which data to be
protected is stored using the ten key pad or the +/–
buttons.

Push the ENTER button.
The current setting is displayed in the lower row.
When the scene is protected: "Protected" is
displayed.
When the scene is not protected: "NotProtected" is
displayed.

Change the setting using the +/– buttons, and then
push the ENTER button.
When you change the setting from "Protected" to
"NotProtected", "P" displayed on the upper row
continues to be displayed.

Push the ENTER button.
"?" appears to ask you to confirm whether or not
the selected scene number is to be protected.

Push the ENTER button again to protect the scene.
When the setting of protection is completed,
"Completed" is displayed for about 2 seconds.
To cancel the protection operation
Push the CANCEL button instead of the ENTER
button.
The LCD is reset to the state it was in in step 2
where you can select a scene number.

Setting the isolation function
The isolation function allows you to isolate settings
from being recalled.
This isolation function is applied to all scenes. You
cannot set the isolation function only for selected
scenes.
Settings that are isolated cannot be recalled. However,
when the scene is stored, the current settings are stored
as scene data together with isolation-free settings.
Settings that can be isolated consists of the following:
• Settings of I/O routing matrix
• Settings of the level, PAD ON/OFF and +48 V ON/
OFF for the DMBK-S101
• Sync settings
• Settings for the SLOT INFO menu
• Settings for the DO CH STATUS
These settings cannot be divided, that is, even though
each setting is composed of several items, you cannot
set the isolation function only for the selected items

Enter the ISOLATE submenu by displaying it on
the LCD.

Set the isolation functions.
1 Select an item using the V and/or v button(s).
The items change in the following sequence:
ISOLATE ROUTING y MIC AMP y
SYNCy SLOT INFO y DO CH STATUS.
2 Select on or off for the selected item using the
+/– buttons.
ON: The isolation function is set. The item is
not recalled when you attempt to recall.
OFF: The isolation function is not set. The
item is recalled when you recall it
