Performing settings for MIDI
When the MIDI IN connector of the SIU-100/100T
and the MIDI OUT of the DMX-R100 are connected, a
scene from the SIU-100/100T can be recalled in
response to the MIDI signal.
The MIDI submenu allows you to make the following
settings related to scene recalls according to the MIDI
signal received.
• Correspondence of the program and scene number
• Specifying the MIDI channel based on program
change message received
• Setting the OMNI mode on/off
When the OMNI mode is set to ON, the specification
of the MIDI channels is ignored.

Enter the MIDI submenu by displaying it on the
LCD.

Select the item to be used so that the window is
changed using the V and v buttons.

Change the setting of the item selected in step 2.
To set the correspondence of the program
number to the scene number
1 Move the cursor to "PGM" using the B button,
and enter the program number using the ten
key pad or the +/– buttons.
The scene number which corresponds to the
selected program number is displayed. If there
is no corresponding scene number, the scene
number area is left blank.
Specify a program number between 1 and 127.
2 Move the cursor to "SCN" by pushing the b
button, and enter a 3 digit scene number.
Once you change the number, the unit enters
the mode where the scene number is specified,
and the scene number blinks.
To clear the correspondence, enter "000".
3 Push the ENTER button.
The scene number entered is executed and the
scene number stops blinking.
To specify the MIDI channel
Select a channel between 1 and 16, or OFF, using
the +/– buttons.
To set the OMNI mode to on or off
Select ON or OFF using the +/– buttons.
Setting the IP address and so on
The IP submenu allows you to perform the following
settings required for controlling the SIU-100/100T via
the Ethernet.
• IP ADDRESS
Sets the IP address of the SIU-100/100T.
• GATEWAY
Sets the address of the gateway assigned to the
network to which the SIU-100/100T is connected.
• SUBNET MASK
Sets the subnet mask assigned to the network to
which the SIU-100/100T is connected.
• NAME
Sets the name (up to 8 characters) of the SIU-100 or
SIU-100T to distinguish between them.
• PASSWORD
Sets the password (up to 8 characters) to perform
settings using HTTP.
• MAC ADDRESS
Displays the MAC address of the SIU-100/100T. It
cannot be set.
