Format conversion
By assigning input and output routings among boards
which have different formats, the SIU-100/100T
functions as a format converter.
Various sampling frequencies
You can select the desired sampling frequency from
among 44.1 kHz, 47.952 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz and
96 kHz.
Various external sync options - Also available
for SD/HD video equipment
In addition to internal synchronization, external
synchronization of word sync and video signals is
available.
The SIU-100/100T can also use HD video signals as a
reference video signal in addition to SD (NTSC, PAL/
SECAM) signals.
Formats available: 1080 60i, 1080 59.94i, 1080 50i,
1080 24PsF, 1080 23.98PsF, 1080 30p, 1080 29.97p,
1080 25p, 1080 24p, 1080 23.98p, 720 60p and 720
59.94p
If the DMX-R100 is synchronized with the word sync
output of the SIU-100/100T as the sync master of the
digital audio by synchronizing the SIU-100/100T with
the HD video signal, you can use the DMX-R100
digital audio mixer system with HD video equipment.
External control by a personal computer via
Ethernet
Since the SIU-100/100T is equipped with an Ethernet
connector (10 BASE-T), the unit can be connected to a

personal computer. The
unit has an internal HTTP server and the personal
computer application is mated with a WEB browser so
that the personal computer control function is available
via Ethernet without installing dedicated software.
Redundant power supply (only for SIU-100T)
The SIU-100T has two independent power supply units
that normally work together. In case of an emergency,
(such as when one of the power supplies is
interrupted), the other working power supply unit
provides the power. By adding one more power supply
unit to an SIU-100, the SIU-100 can also have a dual
power supply unit mode. If you want to incorporate
this function, contact your nearest Sony dealer.
