4.3 Antenna configurations
Description/ application areas
This arrangement of antennas is
appropriate when the tags to be read are
only located on one side of the items to
be identified, e.g. when pallets are to be
identified on which the tags to be read
must be on a prespecified side.
① Tag
This antenna configuration is possible
with the following readers:
RF660R with two antennas

RF630R with two antennas
•
Description/ application areas
Preferred application: In the identification
of goods in loading portals. The tag is
located in the field of radiation of two
antennas; for reliable tag reading, the
height of the tag above floor level must
therefore be known with reasonable
accuracy.
