For a complete picture of the broadcast transmission:
- make a note of the document reference number ("DOC.R") that appears in the bottom right-hand corner after
the document has been stored.
- print the activity report at the end of transmission. The activities that belong to the circular transmission will
have the same reference number. It will remain the same for all correspondents included in the broadcast
transmission.
To identify and retry unsuccessful transmission attempts belonging the broadcast transmission, see the
"Connection activities" section of the "MEMORY" chapter. Activities belonging to the broadcast transmission
will have the same reference number in this case, too.
To clear a broadcast transmission, simply delete the document associated with it (see the "MEMORY" chapter).

The facsimile machine is on. The document has been inserted and prepared for transmission (see the
"BEFORE TRANSMISSION/COPYING" chapter). Position the mask (right-hand section of the console)
to display the function keys.

Press BRD/MEM.
The message "STORING" appears on the display
while the document is being stored.
Once the document has been stored, the message
"STORING COMPLETE" appears on the first line of
the display for a few seconds and the message
"PAGE NO.: XX DOC. R.: XXXX" on the second
line.
The latter message provides you with reference
data that you may require for document deletion or
transmission cancellation operations, i.e. the number
of pages and the document reference number.

Call the correspondent in one of the four ways listed
below:
by typing the facsimile number on the numeric
keypad and pressing START to confirm, or:
by pressing the one-touch dialling key under which
the number was stored (keys 01-24), or:
by pressing SPEED DIAL followed by the speed
dialling code under which the number was stored
(01-60), or:
by pressing the program key under which a group of
numbers was stored (see the "Program keys" section
of the "PROGRAMMING" chapter.
In the example given in the manual, the one-touch
dialling key 01 was selected.

explained in greater detail in the "TRANSMISSION
FROM THE MEMORY" section).
