SETTING OPERATING CONFIGURATION PARAMETERS
You can control some of the facsimile machine's functions by setting operating configuration parameters which
concern, for example, automatic printing of the activity report, transmission report and reception report,
transmission inhibition, etc.
To have an overall view of the operating configuration parameters initially set on the facsimile machine, consult
the table at the end of this section or see the description of the USER SW key in the "GETTING TO KNOW
THE FACSIMILE MACHINE" chapter.
At the time of installation, these parameters are already set with initial values. To select and change the
parameters displayed by the facsimile machine, follow the procedure described below.

The facsimile machine is on. Position the mask (right-hand section of the console) to display the function
keys.

Press USER SW
Press ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ or ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ to select the parameter that you want

to program.
Example: select the "AUTOMATIC RX" parameter.

Press START to confirm the parameter selected.
The display shows the operating condition for the
parameter selected (YES = enabled / NO = dis-
abled).

Press START to confirm the condition displayed or:
press ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ or ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ to select the alternative condition and
then press START to confirm.
At the end of the procedure, the facsimile machine is
automatically set for programming the next parame-
ter.
Repeat the procedure from step 2 if you want to
continue programming the other parameters, or:
press STOP once to return to the "OPERATING
CONFIGURATION" menu functions, or:
press STOP twice to quit the menu
