Purpose
Stabilized Approach Monitor
Verify flap position and select flap as required.
Verify vertical position, apply corrections as required.
Verify airspeed and adjust as necessary.
Verify whether approach parameters are as
expected/briefed and take appropriate action if necessary.
Altimeter Monitor
Check altimeter setting and procedure altitude, request
ATC assistance as necessary.
Check the Flight deck (Baro setting) and request an
updated Altimeter setting from ATC controller.
