Possible cause
The calculated Frequency Output is
outside the configured range.
The Frequency Output has been
configured to send a constant val-
ue.
The transmitter software is down-
level from the core processor soft-
ware.
The calculated mA Output value is
outside the configured range.
The mA Output is configured to
send a constant value.
The Discrete Output has been con-
figured to send a constant value.
Recommended actions
Check the Frequency Output scaling.
Check process conditions. Actual condi-
tions may be outside the normal condi-
tions for which the output is config-
ured.
Check for air in the flow tubes, tubes
not filled, foreign material in the tubes,
coating in the tubes, or other process
problems.
Verify that the measurement units are
configured correctly for your applica-
tion.
Purge the sensor tubes.
Cycling power to the meter or restart-
ing totalizers will restore the Frequency
Output to normal operation.
Check whether the output is in loop test
mode. If it is, unfix the output.
Check whether the output has been set
to a constant value via digital communi-
cation.
Contact customer support.
Check the settings of Upper Range Val-
ue and Lower Range Value.
Check process conditions. Actual condi-
tions may be outside the normal condi-
tions for which the output is config-
ured.
Check for air in the flow tubes, tubes
not filled, foreign material in the tubes,
coating in the tubes, or other process
problems.
Verify that the measurement units are
