Possible cause
The calculated Frequency Output is
outside the configured range.
The Frequency Output has been
configured to send a constant val-
ue.
The transmitter software is down-
level from the core processor soft-
ware.
The calculated mA Output value is
outside the configured range.
The mA Output is configured to
send a constant value.
The Discrete Output has been con-
figured to send a constant value.
Recommended actions
• Check the Frequency Output scaling.
• Check process conditions. Actual condi-
tions may be outside the normal condi-
tions for which the output is config-
ured.
• Check for air in the flow tubes, tubes
not filled, foreign material in the tubes,
coating in the tubes, or other process
problems.
• Verify that the measurement units are
configured correctly for your applica-
tion.
• Purge the sensor tubes.
• Cycling power to the meter or restart-
ing totalizers will restore the Frequency
Output to normal operation.
• Check whether the output is in loop test
mode. If it is, unfix the output.
• Check whether the output has been set
to a constant value via digital communi-
cation.
• Contact customer support.
• Check the settings of Upper Range Val-
ue and Lower Range Value.
• Check process conditions. Actual condi-
tions may be outside the normal condi-
tions for which the output is config-
ured.
• Check for air in the flow tubes, tubes
not filled, foreign material in the tubes,
coating in the tubes, or other process
problems.
• Verify that the measurement units are
configured correctly for your applica-
tion.
