Verify that the Raven modem powers up and that the
Chan, Link and Reg lights blink in unison.
c.
Connect the Raven modem to the laptop computer via
a straight through RS232 cable or connect the serial
cable from the modem to a USB to serial device that
has been previously installed on the laptop.
d.
Remove the connection to the Laptop PC and connect
your equipment to the Raven Modem.
e.
Have the actual application call your equipment via
the modem telephone number and verify communica‐
tions.
