SNMP Security Encryption Key
Purpose:
The security encryption key identifies the key that the 5020 uses to encrypt or decipher
SNMP packets. Encryption is used only by Intermec-provided software. If encryption is
enabled, SNMP management platforms will no longer be able to communicate with the
5020. The encryption key is returned encrypted.
To enable security encryption, set the encryption key and one or both of these two
commands:

Configuration:
Use one of these methods:
In the Configuration or Unit Management application, choose Configure and then
SNMP. Next, choose Security and then choose Encryption Key. For help, see
Chapter 3, "Configuring the 5020."

Options:
The encryption key can be from 4 to 20 ASCII characters.
