Performing a Factory Reset on the RMC-1
The Factory Reset feature on the RMC-1 allows you restore all settings to their default factory
configuration.
Note: Performing a Factory Reset restores all current settings on your RMC-1 to their factory
default settings, but does NOT erase the internal configuration backup file stored on the RMC-1
- if one exists.
Note: While the speaker configuration in the Dirac Speaker Preset will be cleared if you perform
a Factory Reset on your RMC-1, the actual Dirac Correction Filters currently stored on your
RMC-1 will NOT be deleted.
Note: A Factory Reset is used to restore your RMC-1 to its factory default configuration. It is NOT
necessary to perform a Factory Reset after performing a Restore Settings. It is NOT necessary to
perform a Factory Reset after performing an Update Firmware - unless otherwise noted in the
instructions you receive with the update file or from Emotiva Technical Support.
