The Menu System is entered by pressing the Menu button on the remote control, or by pressing
and holding the encoder knob for a few seconds. Pressing the button a second time, pressing and
holding the knob a second time, or using the Left arrow button or encoder control when you are
already at the top level of the menu, exits the menu and returns you to the Information Screen.
Menu navigation is accomplished using the Up, Down, Left, and Right functions on the encoder of
the navigation buttons on the remote control.
The menu system of the RMC-1 is intuitive, and was carefully optimized to make the RMC-1 not
only flexible and powerful, but easy to use.
When using the Menu System, the center line of the menu is active. The lines above and below the
active center line remain visible to provide context.
Setup
The small arrows to the left, right, above, and below show you which directions you can move in
the menu from your current location. Highlight LEDs will also illuminate in the halo ring around
the front panel encoder knob to indicate valid directions for movement within the menu.
