In Configuration 14, only safety Input 1 is in use. It can either be configured
for GuardLink or OSSD with autodetect of EMSS devices. Input devices are
not shown in the drawing.
The output type for OUT X (terminal X2) is configured for OSSD, and input
IN X (terminal X1) is enabled. In this mode, IN X accepts a 24V DC input
signal and output OUT X can be used as an immediate switching safety output
to initiate a stop function of a drive. The 2-channel safety output 14/24 can
drive the safety circuit for a Safe Torque Off with a delay time to perform a
Stop Category 1 function.
The Reset mode is configured for manual monitored reset and is assigned to
the safety outputs. The outputs are enabled when all inputs of the safety
function are ACTIVE, the feedback signal is present, and a valid reset
operation has been performed.
