Service Procedures
SP 28. Replace MPA pump
1. Shut off power and water supply
2. Remove panels and inner cover
3. Remove the earth connection (a) on pump
4. Pull off T-connection from nipple (b)
5. Remove angles (c) from the valve (e)
6. Remove cabling from the valve (e)
7. Loosen screws (h) holding plate (f) with
pump to chassis and lift off the complete
unit
8. Remove nipple (g) from pump and valve (e),
when loosening the nipple the valve will
rotate
9. Remove pump from plate (f)
10.Remove screws with lid (i) on pump
11.Disconnect cable (j)
Assembly
1. Connect cable (d) to new pump and attach
lid with screws (i)
2. Attach pump to plate (f)
3. Attach new pipe sealant in both ends to hose
nipple (g) and attach to pump, all the way
down. Attach valve in other end and note
position of valve facing inwards pump
4. Attach cabling (e) according to picture
5. Attach pump with plate (f) to tub
6. Connect angles and hoses (c)
7. Fasten T-connection with hoses to nipple (b)
8. Attach the earth connection (a) on pump
9. Turn on power and water supply
10.Check function
11.Drain pump from air by removing plug (j)
during start up
12.Reassemble inner cover and panels
