SP 5. Check/Clean Filters
Incoming Water
The shut-off valve has a hex lid covering the
filter. The valve is designed to let the water pass
the filter from inside to outside to avoid
clogging. The same shut-off valve is used on
System 2000, Freedom Bath.
1. Close the valves. The handles (red for hot
water and blue for cold) should be in a cross
position.
WARNING
Make sure that the valve is closed before
removing the lid, especially important on the hot
water supply.
2. Remove the hex head lid with a wrench.
3. Pull out the filter and clean it carefully.
4. Open the valve for a while.
NOTE
When flushing the valve use a hose to lead out
the water in a vessel outside the bath to catch up
the waste water.
5. Shut the valve
