SP 27. Replace PCB in Outer
profile
A wooden pin (1000x20x10mm) is needed to
attach the lower screw for the PCB. If a wooden
pin is missing the lift actuator must be lowered
according to SP26 to be able to attach the
lower screw for the PCB.
1. Remove the tub front and inner cover on lift
arm side
2. Remove the chair from lift arm
3. Remove screws (a) holding the lift arm
4. Remove screws holding (b) top bushings.
One screw holds the top of the PCB inside
5. Lift up, remove arm and bushings (c) from
tub. Support the PCB with a tool (d) so it
will not drop down when the lower screw is
removed
6. Raise the tub to top position
(If no Hi/lo actuators raise 30 cm)
7. Release the swing actuator (e) from the lift
arm
8. Rotate the pillar so the lower screw for the
PCB (f) is in front of you and remove it
9. Disconnect cabling from lift arm PCB (g),
cut the straps holding the cable
10.Attach a thin wire (h) to the PCB cabling
making it easier to pull down the new PCB
(see below)
11.Pull up the PCB. Note position front/back of
PCB and remember position for new PCB.
Assembly of new PCB
For specification of lubrication, Loctite and
torques see page 47 and page 52. Proceed in
accordance with Loctite manufacturers recom-
mendations. Old locking nuts shall be replaced
by new ones.
