3-6 Disassembly, Reassembly and Lubrication

3-6-8. SA2 Platen and Unit, Motor

* The "SA2 Platen" can be detached separately without disassembling the printer.
For details, refer to
1. Remove the "SA Cover". Refer to
2. Remove the "Case" from the main body. Refer to
3. Disconnect the "SA Mechanism Frame" from the "SA2 Base Frame". Refer to

4. Disassemble the "SA Mechanism Frame". Refer to

5. Remove the "SA2 Platen" upward.
6. Remove 1 "Washer, Platen" and detach the "Gear Reduction 2", "Gear Reduction 1" and "Gear
Idle".
7. Remove 2 screws (BH (N), M3x6 (NI)) and detach the "Unit, Motor".

Note on reassembling:
• When assembling, apply lubricant to the places marked with " ".
