2-5 Forwarding
Ifyou switch forwarding on,yourmachine will send incoming faxmessageson toanother faxterminal
(program the forwarding terminal number with Function 86 before doing the following procedure).

Confidential receptions or messages received for transfer broadcasting are not sent to
the forwarding terminal.
Messages can only be forwarded one at a time; batch forwarding is impossible.
Your TTI is not printed out on top of the pages by the forwarding terminal.
Your machine will print the message before forwarding it (PRINT FORWARD FILE will be
displayed on your machine's display panel).
– Switching Forwarding On/off –
1. Press
Function 5 8 Yes .
The top line of the display shows the cur-
rent setting.
2. To switch forwarding on,
press 1 .
To switch it off, press
2 .
If the setting is correct, press
Function .
