MAINTENANCE
AND SAFETY INFORMATION
Although
your telephone
is designed
to be maintenance
free, it contains
sensitive
electronic
parts.
Treat it with care to assure
best performance.
AVOID ROUGH TREATMENT
Avoid dropping
the handset,
and replace
it gently on the telephone
base after use. The original
packaging
should
be used for protection
if you must ship the phone.
CLEANING
The hard plastic casing of your telephone
has a durable
finish that should retain its original
luster
for many years. Clean exposed
parts with a soft, slightly damp cloth. To remove stains, use a mild
soap.
Never use detergents,
excess
water, treated
cloths, harsh cleaning
agents, or sprays.
CAUTION:
This product
can be hazardous
if immersed
in water.
To avoid the
possibility
of electrical
shock, do not use it while in the bathtub
or
shower, or when you are wet. If you accidentally
drop it into water,
do not retrieve
it until you have first unplugged
the line cord from
the modular
wall jack. Do not plug the telephone
back in until it has
dried thoroughly.
