A graphical user interface (DTM) is required for configuration of the transmitter via PC or laptop.

Hardware (for HART
HART handheld terminal (HHT)
You can use a handheld terminal to read out or configure/calibrate the transmitter. If a
communication resistor is installed in the connected supply unit, you can clamp the handheld
terminal directly along the 4 ... 20 mA line.
If no communication resistor is present (min. 250 Ω), you will need to install one in the line. The
handheld terminal is connected between the resistor and transmitter, not between the resistor
and supply unit.
