When an xTR receives a Map-Request from a PITR for an endpoint identifier to Routing Locator
Usage Guidelines
(EID-to-RLOC) mapping resolution, the locator address of the PITR is saved (separately from the map
cache) by an xTR there is a need to send Solicit-Map-Requests (SMRs) to other LISP devices, including
PITRs. The number of locators currently cached is eight (8).
The clear lisp proxy-itr command removes all of the PITR locators that have been discovered through
Map-Requests. When the locator form is used, only this PITR locator entry is removed. When you enter
the vrf keyword, all PITR locators that are associated with this VRF are removed
