Removing the Outer Rails from the Rack

If you want to move or remove the outer rails from the rack, first remove the server completely.
1. Push the middle rail fully into the outer rail. There is a small locking tab on the inside of
the middle rail. Push it in to allow the middle rail to slide back into the outer rail.
2. At the rear of the rack, if you have used a locking screw, remove it.
3. To release the rear outer rail, push on the locking latch lever handle while pushing the
rail forward.
4. At the front of the rack, reach inside the outer rail and depress the metal and plastic
locking latch while pulling the rail forward and pulling the pegs from the rack holes.
