3.2 Accessing the System
The SC946E1C chassis top cover opens to access the storage drives, as described in the
section, "Storage Drives." Other server components can be accessed from the chassis rear,
described in the section, "Power Distributor Board."
Caution: Except for short periods of time, do not operate the server without the cover in
place. The cover contributes to proper airflow and prevents overheating.
