Replace the ECU or meter assembly.
Refer to "REPLACING THE ECU (en-
gine control unit)" on page 8-81.
The shift timing indicator light fails to come on.
1. Check that the shift timing indicator
light is set to come on and that the
brightness level of the light is ad-
justed properly.
Refer to "MULTI-FUNCTION
METER UNIT" on page 1-4.

wiring.
