ADJUSTING THE EXHAUST GAS VOLUME
TIP
• Be sure to set the CO density level to standard,
and then adjust the exhaust gas volume.
• To adjust the exhaust gas volume, use the CO
adjustment mode of the Yamaha diagnostic
tool. For more information, refer to the opera-
tion manual of the Yamaha diagnostic tool.
1. Connect the Yamaha diagnostic tool to the
coupler. For information about connecting the
Yamaha diagnostic tool, refer to "YAMAHA
DIAGNOSTIC TOOL" on page 8-34.

• Coolant reservoir
Refer to "RADIATOR" on page 6-1.
2. Check:
• Crankcase breather hose "1"
Cracks/damage → Replace.
Loose connection → Connect properly.

TIP
There is an air filter check hose "1" at the bottom
of the air filter case. If dust and/or water collects
in this hose, clean the air filter check hose and
replace the air filter element.
