Routing of data into the Flexi Link network
In order to write data into the Flexi Link network so that it can be used by other
stations you need to define which bit in the Flexi Link process image shall be set. You
will find the bits that can be defined for each station in the Outputs panel in the logic
editor under the symbol for the used CPU:
 A square with the letter A-D within it denotes a bit within the Flexi Link process
image.
 Each output bit can be used once. Outputs that are already in use are displayed
green.
 You can edit the tag names of the output bits in the Flexi Link station X view (see
Section 7.4.5).
How to send information into the Flexi Link network:
 Drag the bit you want to define on the worksheet and connect it to the output of a
function block.
 To have the value of an input available directly for all stations in the Flexi Link
network, use a Routing 1:N or a Routing N:N function block as shown in Figure
75:
