6. DATA COMMUNICATION
Action
• Check cable connection.
• Disconnect USB cable, and
reconnect.
• On PC, open Phone and Modem
options and check whether USB
Modem driver is connected to COM
port. If not:
1. Remove Modem in Phone and
Modem options.
2. Remove previous USB installations
via Control Panel>System>
Hardware>Device Manager.
Double-click universal serial Bus
Controller and uninstall the USB
universal Host Controller.
Warning! Remove all USB drivers.
3. Start again from page 6-71.
• Contact your PC vendor to get the
software.
• It is not possible to use the USB port
if the modem on the receiver side is
not an ISDN modem.
• Check the phone number, user name
and password with your service
provider.
• Check whether the 64kbps data UDI
is commissioned
• Recommended maximum length: 3 m
