This menu allows settings to be made for logging onto a network using IP version 4.
1. Select Setup.
2. Select the menu point " IPv4"
3. Select More to display the next page.

Option Description

IPv4

Enable to allow the tester to support IPv4 protocol.
Dynamic:
IP Address
Static:
using the options below.
IP Address Static IP address.
NetMask Static network mask.
Gateway IP address of the Gateway.
DNS1 IP address of Domain Name Server 1
DNS2 IP address of Domain Name Server 2
Setting of the time the tester will wait to be assigned a DHCP address before it
DHCP Time out
defaults to a 169.x.x.x address.
NOTE:
When working with the Static option, request the required information on the IP address, NetMask
Gateway and DNS server from your system administrator.
4. Select the option IP Address to set Dynamic or Static.
5. Select the desired option.
6. Enter the desired information with the alphanumeric keys.
7. Save the entry made with Apply. You can exit the menu without saving the
changes with Escape.
