Servicing SAS Cables (FRU)

The following section describes how to service SAS cables. SAS cables are field-replaceable
units (FRUs). For more information about FRUs, see
and "Field-Replaceable Units" on page
The system supplies power to the cables even when the server is powered off.
Caution -
To avoid personal injury or damage to the server, you must disconnect power cords before
servicing the cables.
SAS cables should be removed and replaced only by authorized Oracle Service
