Sensor Calibration Factor Drift

The Keysight Standards Laboratory at South Queensferry has determined the
following average sensor drift value.
Average Sensor Drift < 0.06% per year
Therefore,
U(Drift) = 0.0006
This value is only valid for 8478B sensors calibrated to 0.2% accuracy.
NOTE

Resistance

The uncertainty of the resistance measurement on the 3458A DMM is given from:
Error = (ppm of reading + ppm of range) + (temperature coefficient) + (factory
traceability)
with: -
Cond itions: 1 Year Cal and temperature variance +/- 5 °C without ACAL
Reference: Keysight 3458A Operating Manual Appendix A
For 1 kΩ scale the specified accuracy is;
10 ppm of reading + 0.5 ppm of range
with: -
1 ppm of Reading + 0.1 ppm of Range per
and, 3 ppm of Reading (for factory traceability)
