The "Test Setup <...>" dialog may include the following sections:

Certain relationships exist between parameters which depend on the current configuration. This
means that the choice of parameters will not always be the same. To preserve clarity, the index
cards only include the parameters that are relevant to the actual configuration or test type.
Parameters that cannot be edited, and which are for information only, are grayed out. In
particular,
• all index cards are empty in "Called" mode
• the index cards for the backward path are empty in "Self-Call" mode
• the index card for the backward path for the "ATM Layer QoS (PVC) - Looped" test type does
not include a "Selected channel" box.
Parameter settings can only be made if the test traffic is disabled ("Test - Traffic Enable" must
be deactivated).

Select channel

The "Select channel" list box contains a selection of virtual channel types that can be used to
rapidly configure the test channels. The list is arranged in order of traffic type.
To preserve clarity, only those channel types that can be used with the current instrument
configuration are shown in the list box, e.g. if a test type for permanent virtual connections
(PVC) has been selected, no channels will be listed which are defined as switched virtual
connections (SVC).
