3.3 Results window
After the Scan has been triggered, the results are saved in the result memory and displayed in
the appropriate results window according to the selected Scan type. The results memory can
store up to 1000 channels per Scan. The results window can only show about 10 channels at
once. The scroll bar at the side of the window can be used to view the remaining channels.
The order of the channels can be changed according to the Sort criterion selected in the "Sort"
menu. The "Print" menu commands allow you to print out and to export the data to other
programs for further processing.
Scan - Activity
The "Scan - Activity" investigates for active channels. The instrument detects every active
channel and enters it in the results list. The results list is expanded until no new channels are
detected or the maximum number of 1000 channels is reached. Each line corresponds to a
channel. The columns in the results list contain the specific attributes of the channel.
Analyse - AAL Type
Detects and displays the AAL types for the active ATM channels.
Analyse - AAL Type Distribution
Determines and displays the distribution of active ATM channels according to AAL type. The
"AAL Type Distribution" window appears showing the current distribution of active channels
according to AAL type:
• Dynamic overview as a pie-chart display
• Quantitative display as a table of percentage values
