12. Tool Compensation Functions
Changing the compensation direction during tool radius compensation
The compensation direction is determined by the tool radius compensation commands (G41, G42)
and compensation amount sign.

The compensation direction can be changed by changing the compensation command in the
compensation mode without the compensation having to be first canceled. However, no change is
possible in the compensation start block and the following block.
Refer to section "12.4.5 General precautions for tool radius compensation" for the movement when
the symbol is changed.
