Memory Installation

Maximum system memory supported by the Elite-4i is 2.0 GB. The Elite-4i has
two DDR Sockets. Memory can be installed using two 184-pin DDR DIMM
memory modules. There are no jumper settings required for the memory size or
type, which is automatically detected by the BIOS. Memory modules must meet
the following requirements:
FSB SPEED
400 MHz
533 MHz
800 MHz

First remove the keytop as instructed in Section 3.1.2 being careful to follow
instructions regarding the disconnection of power.

To install memory, line up the bottom of the memory with the pattern notches
on the memory slot (it will only go in one way). Depress the memory into
the slot and the clips will click into place.
NOTE: If you are using only one stick of memory, it is recommended to
install in DIMM1 (Bank 0) (the slot closest to the CPU).
