Microprocessor
An onboard switching voltage regulator provides the required 0.85 to 1.60 volts for
the processor. The processor sends five VID (Voltage Identification) signals to the
switching voltage regulator. The switching regulator generates the correct voltage
for the processor.
The Elite-4i is designed to operate with the following FC-PGA2 478-pin processors:
