3.3.2 Heat Sink Installation Procedure

1.
Swing the locking lever down to lock the processor in place and latch the
lever under the catch on the side of the socket.
2.
Open the heat sink compound (provided with the unit), evenly applying it to
the surface of the CPU case and North Bridge chip surface, about 0.2mm
thickness.
3.
The heat sink only fits one way over the CPU. Center the heat sink over the
CPU aligning the four screws. Screw in the heat sink being careful not to
use force.

3.3.3. Removing the CPU and Heat Sink

To remove the CPU from the Motherboard, follow these steps:
1.
Remove the heat sink by unscrewing the four screws holding it in place and
gently lifting it off the CPU.
2.
Push the CPU socket lever slightly to the side and then raise it as far as it can
go. You will feel a resistance as the CPU is freed from the socket.
3.
Remove the processor.

FSB and Memory Speed Settings

There is no jumper setting required for FSB speeds. BIOS and system hardware will
automatically detect the clock speed of a CPU and memory.
