In the Vision software, open a new file and select Engrave, then Engraving Defaults from the top menu
bar. Select the Inside Ring S4 driver and enter the number recorded as the Y Position from the step
above into the Y Move field. DO NOT INCLUDE THE NEGATIVE SIGN. This number sets the distance
the tool must move to the left of the machine's home position before engraving and allows the tool to drop
down and move left into the middle of the ring before engraving. Select Apply, then Close to save this
setting. In this example, the distance shown on the Pendant was -0.465 inches, so 0.465 was entered
into the Y Move field.
Select Engrave, then Ring Engrave from the top menu bar. The Ring Dimensions window will appear.
Set the driver to Inside Ring S4, then enter the ring size and width measured in the prior step. In this
example, the ring was a size 5.5 and the width was 0.314 inches. Select Next to proceed.
