Install the diamond drag ring adapter tool so that approximately 1 1/2 inches of the shaft extends above
the hold down bracket, then tighten the hold down screw firmly by hand.
Turn the machine's power on, press Go To Home and then press the Rotary key on the Pendant. Press
2 using the numeric keys on the Pendant and enter the diameter measured in the prior step using the
numeric keys. Press the Enter key on the Pendant to finish setting the machine into Ring Mode. The
spindle will move to the center of the rotary vise at this time.
If the ring has a decorated portion on one side, such as a setting of stones, rotate the item by turning
the collar on the chuck to loosen the ring on its locating pins and manually rotating the item so that the
stones are at the top (12 O'clock position), then re-tighten the chuck with the adjustment collar. If there
is no such area on the ring, skip this step.
