Assembling the rack mount kit hardware (front-to-rear)

Mounting the slide brackets

Required tools and equiptment:
• Ten (10) #6 x 3/8 inch flathead screws.
• Fixed-length slide rails.
• Torx tool.
• The appropriate size ear brackets for the rack. (The longer ear brackets are used for the HP
9000 and 11000 series racks. All other racks use the shorter ear brackets.)
Install the slide brackets on the sides of the switch:
1. Position the two slide rails and ear brackets at the front of the switch, on either side
Do not use the square washers with the HP rack system/e or EIA racks. These rack
