2803 - PMS Hotel Options, Item 1: 3:00 AM Auto Room Scan
When you enable this option, at 3:00 AM each morning:
The phone system automatically changes the status of all
checked in rooms to maid required.
After changing the room status, the system sends the
required room status messages to the PMS system.
PMS Hotel Options, Item 2: Check-In Message Type
When you change the check-in or check-out status of a room tele-
phone, the phone system can optionally send a Room Status
(STS) or Check-in Status (CHK) message to the PMS system.
To have the phone system send a Room Status (STS) mes-
sage when a room telephone's check-in status changes,
enter 0.
To have the phone system send a Check-In Status (CHK)
message when a room telephone's check-in status changes,
enter 1.
2803 - PMS Hotel Options, Item 3: Clean Room Checkout
Normally the system will send Status 0 for a checked out room.
When this option is set to '1', a Status 4 (Inspection Required) is
sent to the PMS allowing the room to be inspected before check-
ing in another guest to the room.
2803 - PMS Hotel Options, Item 4: Send NAK for Receive
Message Timeout
When this option is set to '1', a NAK (non-acknowledge) mes-
sage is sent to the PMS when the EndOfMessage character is not
received before the expiration of the Receive Message Timer
(Program 2805, Item 4) allowing the message to be resent.
2804 - PMS Restriction Level Conversion Table
Use this option set up the PMS Toll Restriction Conversion
Table. This table correlates the four Station Restriction Codes (0-
3) to Toll Restriction Levels (1-15) assigned in Program 0701.
This conversion is important for two reasons:
The supervisor can dial a Service Code (set in Program 0514
Item 56) and a Station Restriction Code code (0-3) to change
any checked-in room telephone's Toll Restriction level. For
example:
– Set Program 0514 Item 56 = 166.
– Set Program 2804 code 0 = level 10.
– From the supervisor's telephone, dialing 166 + room tele-
phone number + 0 sets the room telephone's Toll
Restriction level to 10.
