Before Programming

How to Enter the Programming Mode

To enter the programming mode:
1. Go to any working display telephone.
In newly installed system, use extension 301.
2. CALL1 + #*#*.
Password-
3. Dial the system IN password (12345678) + HOLD
Enter Command>
You are now in the programming mode.

How to Exit the Programming Mode

To exit the programming mode:
1. DIAL.
2. 1 + HOLD to exit and save your programmed data to disk.
OR
HOLD to exit without saving your programmed data to disk.
In either case, your programmed data remains stored in
temporary system memory (RAM). However, if your lose power
or your system resets, the data you entered without saving will
be lost.

Using Keys to Move Around in the Programs

Once you enter the programming mode, use the keys in the following
chart to enter data, edit data and move around in the menus.
Use this key . . .
0-9, # and *
HOLD
CONF
CLEAR
VOL
VOL
3-4
Keys for Entering Data
When you want to . . .
Enter data into a program.
Complete the programming step you just made
(like pressing Enter on a PC keyboard). When a
program entry displays, press HOLD to bypass
the entry without changing it.
Delete the entry to the left (like pressing
Backspace on a PC keyboard).
Erase the entire command line you just entered.
Scroll forward through a list of programs or items
(e.g., from Program 0406 Item 109 to Item 110).
If you enter data and then press this key, the sys-
tem accepts the data before scrolling forward.
Scroll backward through a list of programs or
items (e.g., from Program 0406 Item 110 to Item
109. If you enter data and then press this key, the
system accepts the data before scrolling backward.
