1105 - Operator's Extension
The PMS alarm display messages normally appear on the opera-
tor extension assigned in this option. If no extension is assigned,
the system uses the extension designated in Program 0011 above.
1201 - DCI Setup, Item 1: S-Registers
For the DCI subtype specified in Program 1202 below, make the
following entries for Item 1 (S-Registers):
Register 65 - Set the baud rate, data format and parity to
match the settings of the connected PMS.
Register 66 - Set RTS to disabled (1), DTR and CD controls
to on (0) and disable flow control (0).
1202 - DCI Port Type
Use this option to assign the port type and subtype to the DCI
software port used for PMS. If the PMS system provides a stan-
dard RS-232-C port, use DCI type 1. Make sure the DCI subtype
setting in this program agrees with the choice you make in
Program 1201 above. See Program 2801 below for the PMS DCI
port assignment.
1203 - DCI Tenant Group
Be sure the PMS DCI is in the same Tenant Group and as the
hotel mode telephones and the entry you make in Program 2802.
1206 - Initialize DCI
After programming the PMS options and starting the PMS sys-
tem, you must use Program 1206 to initialize the DCI port.
Optionally, you can dial Service Code 880 at the DCI telephone
to initialize the DCI port.
1705 - Initialize DCI
Usin g he modem configuration defined in Program 1201, use
this program to choose a configuration for a DCI. For each
modem number (1-16), enter the DCI modem type you pro-
grammed in Program 1201.
2801 - PMS Setup
Use this option to assign an LAPBU PCB (P/N 92156) circuit and
the DCI software port for PMS. You must have an LAPBU PCB
installed to use PMS Integration features.
For the Modem No. (channel) prompt, enter 1. This desig-
nates the LAPBU PCB for PMS Integration.
For the DCI No. prompt, enter the software port number for
the DCI port connected to the PMS system. You should not
use the PMS DCI for SMDR or system reports.
2802 - PMS Tenant Assignment
Use this option to assign the PMS system to a Tenant Group (1-
4). Be sure to assign the PMS system and the Hotel mode tele-
phones to the same Tenant Group.
