UNCTION ARAMETERS
vi = contains a session handle to the instrument. This handle is obtained by the function and remains valid until the
session is closed.
trig_timer = the amount of time, in seconds, between timer ticks. Valid input values: 0.001 (1 ms) to 4294
(71.5 minutes) with a resolution of 1 µs.
