Example: If the valve is set to be driven to the 50 % open position and the deadband is set to
4 %, the motor stops driving when the position feedback is 48 %. The deadband is between
48 % and 52 %.
Position %
For motorized valve without feedback (see page 32), this parameter is used to control the valve
movement.
For motorized valve with feedback (see page 32), the time entered is compared with the actual
valve movement. If the valve is sticking, a diagnostic message is generated (set Travel Time to
0 s to disable this feature).
