Specifying Recipients from the Address Book

(Address Book)

For more convenience in sending documents, you can enter recipients in the address book from the
Additional Functions screen. Recipients in the address book can be selected from the Send screen,
and also selected for forwarding settings. Once a recipient is registered, documents can be sent to
that recipient using the procedure described here.
The address book can store e-mail, I-fax, etc. recipients as well as both individual and group recipi-
ents. (See "Adding a New Address," in the Reference Guide.)
NOTE
• A maximum of 256 addresses can be selected at one time (excluding new addresses). Person or Group
addresses are counted as one address for every address they contain.
• Address books can be imported, exported, and transferred to or from other computers. (See the Remote
UI User's Guide.)

Press the [Address Book] key.

Select one or more recipients from the
address book. A check mark will appear in
the check box beside each item selected.
NOTE
• Use the alphabet keys to jump to a range of
entries.
• You can also scroll up and down through the list
using the [
] and [
• You can limit the type of addresses displayed in
the list using the Type drop-down list box.
• You can limit the number of addresses displayed
by creating groups of addresses called sub-
address books (1 to 10). Use the address book
drop-down list box to select a different sub-
address book.
• To view more detailed information about an
address, press the [Details] key.
