Overview of Status Operations

Pressing the [System Monitor] key displays the System Monitor screen, where you can check and
change the status of all copy, send, print, and receive jobs. For example, you can change the order of
jobs in the print queue, cancel a job, view details related to a job, or print a password-protected job
(secured print).
For each type of job, you can view a Job List showing jobs that are currently being processed or wait-
ing to be processed, or a Log showing jobs that have already been processed. You can also view a log
list of jobs that have been received, and print reports from the System Monitor screen.
From the System Monitor screen, you can quickly access information about the machine. You can also
monitor the amount of paper remaining in the paper drawers and in the optional 1000 Sheet Paper
Deck, check the amount of memory currently being used, and view error messages.
NOTE
• Many of the status operations can also be performed from the Remote UI. See the Remote UI User's Guide.
• System administrators can access additional kinds of reports. See "Send/Receive Report Settings," in the
Reference Guide.
