Error Messages Table
Cause
- During I-fax receiving, the memory
required for forwarding is full.
- Receiving refused because the
printer was unable to print.

only occurs during printing of Com-
munication Control Reports for
which a department ID is required.)
- Box memory is full.
- The server is not operating. The
network connection is broken
(unable to connect to recipient, or
was cutoff during connection).
- Error in e-mail, I-fax SMTP server
name setting, or server is not oper-
ating. Or the domain name or e-mail
address is not specified.

- A TCP/IP error occurred during e-
mail sending or I-fax sending/
receiving. (Socket, Select error,
etc.)
- Server not operating or network
connection broken during commu-
nication with database.
- Database address setting is incor-
rect.
- The NetWare setting in Additional

communication with SMTP server
while sending e-mail or sending/
receiving I-fax.

Solution
- This problem will correct itself after
time has passed. If there is an error
on the printer side, remove the
cause of the error.

- Job automatically canceled.
- Delete documents in box.
- Confirm the recipient address.
- Confirm the network connection.
- Check the SMTP server name,
domain name, or e-mail address in
the Additional Functions.
- Check that the SMTP server is
operating properly.

tors.
- If still unable to operate properly,
turn main power supply to OFF, wait
3 seconds, then turn to ON again.
