IMPORTANT
• When copying, the top of your original must be toward the back of the glass, or copies may not be made
correctly in some copy modes.
• When printing the sender's address on outgoing documents, the original must be placed correctly or the
sender's address will not print in the correct location on the page at the receiving end.
NOTE
• LTR-size originals can be placed vertically or horizontally.
• LTR size placed horizontally are called LTRR.
• 11"x17"/LGL-size originals must be placed horizontally.
• When using two-sided scan settings to send a document that has the top edges of the front and back
sides reversed, the back page is sent upside down.
Scanning Color Originals for Sending
Place documents as shown below. The original must be placed correctly or the sent image will not
be displayed in the correct orientation on the recipient's computer screen.
