Printing Secured Print Jobs (Secured Print)

You can use the touch panel display to print password-protected (secured) print jobs. This type of
print job prints only when a password is entered in the touch panel display. With this feature, jobs will
not be printed automatically. Secured printing can be used when you do not want the machine to
print pages unless you are at the machine to receive them.
IMPORTANT
• If the main power supply is turned to OFF, secured documents are erased.
• Secured documents are erased as soon as they are printed.
• Secured document print settings cannot be changed.

From your personal computer, send a password-protected (secured) print job to the
machine.
